The DUI Conspiracy

Are DUI laws a conspiracy? Should American drivers be robbed of their rights, just because they enojoy a few beers? It seems the laws of this country want to incriminate non-criminals, and turn every hard working American citizen you enjoys a beer after work into a criminal. Is there ever going to be any justice for the millions of Americans who have been robbed of their American god given rights?

Driving While Texting

Texting while driving seems like a bad thing to do. Can someone accurately focus on the road while texting? I mean with drinking and driving, you are in control of your driving, as long as your not at least .20 blood alcohol level or something like that. But with texting, your not looking at the road while you text. Well, some people might be able to do this, a lot will not. But the funny thing is, I can understand having laws against texting while driving. Should they also have the same penalties as dui laws? Should someone getting caught texting while driving, lose their driver's license for 1 - 5 years, go to jail, and be loaded up with $10,000 or more in court costs and fines? Since it appears texting while driving is more dangerous than drinking and driving, why does the penalty not match the crime? Doesn't make a lot of sense. That's why until someone can tell me why dui laws are the way they are, I would logically have to believe that dui laws are conspiracy against America's alcohol drinkers. When the punishment doesn't even come close to the severity of the crime, you really have to start questioning what is going in this country and why.

Does Prohibition Still Exist?

Is anybody even mildly intoxicated off 2-3 beers? Everyone keeps saying don't drive even if you have had 1 beer. What? What country do we live in again? I didn't know prohibition still existed. I thought we got passed that back in the 30's. I guess I was wrong. Or this a way to steal from hard working Americans you enjoy a couple beers at their local bar after work and then drive home. Oh, but wait, DUI checkpoint was set up. So now that innocent man has to lose $10,000. Ridiculous! I hope more people don't stay home because of this. Fight back! We say this is a free country with sensible and reasonable laws, so why aren't we fighting for them! Don't let MADD or the law impose Nazi like restrictions on your freedom. It's time we take this country back and protect the hard working Americans you enjoy a few beers after an honest days work.

Were DUI Laws a Factor in The Auto Crisis?

I don't know if stealing cars from hard working Americans who have a couple beers after work affected auto sales in this country, but I'm sure it didn't help. It's also hard to purchase a car without a drivers's license. It's amazing how in the last 5 years, how many people I know who no longer have a driver's license, let alone a car. These people at one time had cars, yet know have to take a taxi or walk to work, because they are victim of dui laws. Out of the 20 friends I can think of off the top of my head, about 15 of them don't have a car. They all have jobs and support their families, yet they no longer have a car in their driveway. I'll have to look in to some the statistics on this and get the facts. Anyone have any information on this?

The Insanity Of DUI Laws

As we all know there are those annoying traffic laws out there. Run a stop sign or red light, or make a u-turn when you weren't supposed to and you get a ticket for $100 or so. Yes I know we need these laws to keep everything in order on our streets. But what if you did this after 2 beers? Did you know that now you may lose $10,000 instead of $100? You may also lose your license for 1, 5, or 10 years and go to jail. Sound crazy? Well it is, and it is happening on the streets you drive each day. The dui precedent of 0.08 is about 2-3 beers in the average adult. Do you feel drunk after a couple? I don't feel anything and I know that my driving isn't impaired. But somehow the law feels they have the right to throw you in jail, load you up with fines, lawyer fees, treatment, and jail time. I don't know about you, but I thought we live in a free country, with laws that make sense. I guess me and the other millions of Americans who have been robbed by our legal system were wrong. If anyone would like to explain the other side, feel free to do so.

Why are DUI Laws So Strict?

You might think that DUI laws are strict because of the dangerous accidents that have occurred while someone driving was intoxicated. Makes sense. But what about all the fatal accidents that occur from sober drivers? What about drivers who are talking on their cell phones, or are listening to loud music or driving out of control because of road rage. Why aren't they treated the same as a DUI driver. We already know that more fatal accidents occur from sober than drunk drivers. So why aren't we banning sober driving? Well, that may be a stretch, but seriously why do we have such crazy laws that make no sense.

Well, the answer is of course the almighty dollar. That's right, politicans and activist just found a way to steal money, and there taking it as far as they can until people start standing up against it.

In Ohio after you arrested for a DUI you are then branded with a yellow license plate. What? Yes, I am serious. Now people are being branded in this country. So when you are drving home from the bar watch out! Do you know anyone out there who has a party plate? Post your comments.

Even though you weren't drunk, you are then taken away in a police car and thrown in jail? Sound familiar? What a scam our legal system is pulling on our already struggling middle class. Forget about the mortage, credit crisis affecting hard working Americans. The bigger and more frightening problem is on the streets you drive each day.
